I have a book cookin up, one with beauty advice. It will likely be my biggest, hopefully going to print.
I have been trying out tips and tricks I dig up on the internet. I have one DO and one DON’T even think about it.
DO: Out of leave in conditioner? Mix 1 cup of water with about 1/4 cup of liquid fabric softener and pour over clean, wet hair. Comb through and don’t rinse it out. It makes for nice soft, fluffy hair. It smells nice, although a bit intense at first.
DON’T: Very popular, very horrible advice of rinsing your hair with vinegar for shine, or conditioning, or whatever. NO NO NO. Not so good. I tried this, using apple cider vinegar mixed equally with water. My hair was like bristly straw for a full day, not to mention the smell. This is a terrible idea. On the other hand, vinegar makes a great toe fungus remover, I hear from my girlfriend. Her ex had issues and he dipped his toes in vinegar for about a week, which resulted in pearly white toe nails with zero fungus.
I’ll be “giving up the goods” so to speak about other tricks and beauty secrets I put to the test, as well, so please do stay tuned 🙂
